On two story homes and more complicated single story homes, structural coordination is necessary. Included in the process for such projects are meetings with the truss company and structural engineer to review any special conditions designed into the project.
Once the structural engineers are finished with their work, we examine it to verify that all special conditions were addressed and to verify that their work and our drawings are coordinated. This coordination is necessary in order to be sure that nothing is overlooked, misunderstood, or improperly located.
